Great Customer Service In the heart of Old Town
We keep coming back to Hotel Albuquerque not just for its location next to Old Town, but because of the great customer service the hotel provides! Almost all staff will greet you and wish you a good day when you meet them. When something is not quite right, which is not very often, the Hotel is quick to respond. The Hotel southwest décor provides a great atmosphere for people who may not be familiar with the southwest! Being close to Old Town and other attractions help to make the stay very pleasant and enjoyable. Heritage Hotels and Resorts, of which Hotel Albuquerque is a part, is also known for giving back to the community.

Dear Mr. Long,
I'm writing to inform you of an extraordinary thing that happened at the Hotel Albuquerque last night. I am here on business, a convening of about 120 people.  Adrian Perez spoke to the crowd at our reception.

This is not unusual, it's usually an opportunity for management to welcome us, extoll the beauties of the city, thank us for our business and tell us to enjoy the property/community while we're in town.

That's not what happened.  I've worked in affordable housing for 30 years and go to conferences and convenings about 6-8 times a year.  This is the FIRST time a hotel executive has looked up our website, read about our organization and related the impact of our work to his business and employees.

It's hard to describe the impact this had on us.  Of course, being from out of town, everyone took the opportunity to explore the plaza and old town.  However, myself and everyone I talked to felt particularly good about meeting in the hotel bar and patronizing the restaurants on site to support management who both showed an understanding of their employees' lives and of our work with low and moderate income individuals and families.

We'll do our best to support your business with repeat business when possible.  I also hope you will send our appreciation to Mr. Perez.

Dear Ms. Marcelli, Mr. Harris, and Ms. Howard,

I wanted to take a moment to let you all know how much my colleagues and I enjoyed our conference at the Hotel Albuquerque on June 18-20, 2015. As the Co-Chair of the ISLS Conference, I had numerous attendees tell me that this was the best conference we’ve had in our organization’s history. While my fellow conference organizers and I would have loved to have taken the credit for the event, the truth is that your amazing staff at the hotel realized our vision impeccably and exceeded our expectations. In our recent conference survey, about 80% of respondents (a high score!) rated the Hotel Albuquerque as “Very good” or “Excellent” in terms of the conference facilities, hotel common areas, and their rooms.

From a planning standpoint, I found Katie amazing to work with, especially given that the distance between Albuquerque and conference planners on the East Coast and even in Japan meant almost exclusively electronic communication. Yet Katie made planning very easy; I felt that I only needed to pick the most appropriate of the options that she provided in terms of event set-up, food and beverage service, and décor. Being the detail-oriented person that I am, I sent numerous emails to Katie at different points in the planning, and her responses were always quick and

When I arrived on-site for the pre-conference meeting and walk-through on June 16, I was even more impressed by how friendly and gracious staff at the hotel was. Katie, Nicholas, and Jesse – along with their colleagues – were able to answer any question we had and to follow through on any and every request we made (and there were numerous requests the first day of the conference!) with good cheer. This was no more apparent when we
realized literally twenty minutes before our business luncheon that there had been an error on our part in not requesting a needed microphone from the outside technology specialists we had contracted. The Hotel Albuquerque staff was able to quickly set up a podium and microphone so that we could do the event as planned! Their quick work really saved the event!

The food and beverage service was also another area that exceeded our expectations. Attendees raved about the food on the New Mexican Buffet at our luncheon – one attendee from Albuquerque saying that it was a very authentic and tasty representation of local cuisine – and the afternoon social. Kudos to the chef and his staff as well as the wait staff, who could not have been friendlier! Our group enjoyed the social so much that attendees didn’t want to leave, which the staff – especially the fabulous Herman - graciously allowed!

In conclusion, we could not have been more pleased with the execution of the plans for our conference. The facilities, amenities, and staff exceeded our every expectation, and I hope that you will shower those that worked with our conference with much-earned praise.

Ethics in Business Awards Dinner Review

Everything about the service for this event was spectacular. Hotel ABQ is a beautiful property, in excellent condition, with a warm, elegant SW ambiance. Every member of the staff that I worked with was courteous, professional, and went above and beyond their required service to make sure the event was a complete success. Our guests were very well treated and everything ran on time. The requested space and equipment were all in top notch condition, provided promptly and met the required levels of performance. The food was excellent and the variety of meals offered to us delighted every segment of our audience.
Several members of the staff came by while we were setting up to make sure we had everything we needed, and even offered equipment we had not ordered to make the event event more amazing. Special kudos to Courtney Ortiz who organized every last detail, Garritt who was everywhere at once helping with any detail, and Joe from the Hotel AV who enhanced our order with extras to knock the socks off our presenters and audience. I highly recommend this beautiful property and its friendly and accomplished staff!

The Best Conference Facility & Staff in New Mexico!

I am the Executive Director for the New Mexico Association of School Business Official, we just completed our 12th year of conferencing with Hotel Albuquerque at Old Town our host hotel for the annual Spring Budget Workshop, we put on this conference in conjunction with the states Public Education Department. The entire hotel staff does an amazing job every year to ensure that our 1200 attendees, presenters, guests and exhibitors are comfortable while they are in attendance at the conference, Kudos to event & sales, reservations, house keeping, food & beverage, banquets, audio visual,maintenance and everyone who are so dedicated to making sure that we have a successful conference annually.
