Alvarado Ballroom -
The 14,000 square feet Alvarado Ballroom is the ultimate expression of southwest style and elegance. A sophisticated blending of Native American, Spanish, Mexican, and Western influences, our grand ballroom features soaring 22-foot ceilings, hand-stamped tin chandeliers, hand-plastered walls Navajo rug-style carpeting, large exhibit areas and historic photographs of bygone eras in the southwest. The 3,796 square foot Franciscan Ballroom offers a more intimate ambience for meetings and events than the Alvarado Ballroom, yet is a uniquely grand experience in its own right. Looking back to the Pueblo Deco period and the decadence of the 1930s and 1940s in the southwest, this Albuquerque ballroom evokes a well-heeled country club aura and features elegant appointments, including: Native American-inspired geometric layered ceiling, custom Two Gray Hills carpet design, hand-forged wall sconces in thunderbird design and large wooden chandeliers. The Fireplace Room exudes a warm ambience perfectly suited to holding more casual events in Albuquerque, New Mexico, such as smaller meetings and parties. The 870 square foot Fireplace room's casual sophistication comes from a focal-point fireplace, wood-planked floors covered with Native American rugs, authentic pottery, and beautifully detailed ceiling vigas and latillas.
