Albuquerque Sawmill District
Explore Albuquerque’s newest destination for the savvy traveler just outside our doors. Originally the site of the American Lumber Company north of historic Old Town, the Sawmill District is being re-imagined and redeveloped into a vibrant neighborhood of loft-style housing, artist studios and retail space. Its new shops, art and entertainment reflect New Mexico’s rich culture and emerging International trends.
Sawmill MarketThe Sawmill Market brings to the Sawmill District a 25,000 square-foot food court with an array of local cuisine and culinary traditions. It will house a growers' market, restaurants and bars along with entertainment venues, art galleries and more.
The Sawmill Market is being advised by Steve Carlin, a pioneer in food market developments including the Ferry Building Marketplace in San Francisco and the Oxbow Public Market in the Napa valley.
